What a weekend for Cosmic Cone!
We officially participated in our very first parade during Railroad Days in Dunsmuir, and it could not have been a better way to begin sharing our journey with the community.
The weekend was extra special because Railroad Days also fell on Molly’s birthday. We celebrated by decorating the truck, joining the parade, handing out treats, meeting community members, and introducing Cosmic Cone to locals and visitors.
We were honored to receive an Honorable Mention during the parade, which was an unexpected and encouraging surprise for our family.
The weekend continued with the annual Soapbox Derby, where we had the opportunity to help with setup and support a fun local tradition for kids and families. We also enjoyed breakfast at Bee Kind before the races and were grateful for the warm encouragement from another local business.
One of the biggest highlights was the positive feedback we received about Cosmic Cone’s branding, shirts, colors, and future plans. Hearing people get excited about what we’re building reminded us exactly why we’re doing this.
Cosmic Cone is still under construction, but we’re already working to become part of the community we hope to serve.
Next up: we’ll be participating in the Mt. Shasta 4th of July Parade!
Thank you to everyone who has followed, shared, encouraged, or supported our journey so far.
The adventure is just getting started.
